Where are you an expert?
What is your "Why?"
What life experiences are unique to you and affect the way you serve your clients?
What do you value and how do you make a difference in the lives of others?
Writing down the answers to these 5 questions and thinking about where those personal beliefs and experiences cross over into your business is a helpful exercise to identify the branding that is unique to YOU.
In this way, marketing from within inevitably sets you apart from your competition because nobody can own the brand like YOU.
Once you are clear on your branding message and how it incorporates all of you, you will look around and see that you don't have any competition, simply because there isn't another you. For me, this exercise was a game changer in getting clear on my message so I could put out consistent branding about what I offer my clients.
By focusing on YOU and making that message strong and personal, it releases you from worrying about or comparing yourself to your competition. My hope is that this gives you peace and clarity as you bring your message out into the world!
